How sponsored placement works

Some participating providers pay to take part in this platform. Payment may influence where a provider appears, but it does not permit a provider to alter our general educational standards or make unsupported claims.

Right now, one provider participates and it is a paid participant. Everywhere that provider appears, a label says so.

A paid provider carries a “Sponsored” badge next to the provider's name, plus a sentence stating that San Antonio Mobile Health has a paid business relationship with that provider. Both appear in the same visual block as the provider, never in a tooltip, never behind a disclosure toggle, and never only in the footer.

If you ever find a paid placement on this site without that label, it is a mistake and we want to know. Tell us and we will fix it and say that we did.

Commercial arrangements are handled separately from editorial decisions. A provider sees a page when you do.

The practical test of a firewall is not the policy, it is whether anything on the site costs the business money. Our comparison guides name the situations where urgent care beats a mobile visit; our cost guides point out where an insurance copay beats a cash price; and one guide explicitly tells readers working from home that mobile care often is not worth it. Those pages exist because the standard requires them, not because they help conversion.
