How matching works
We check your ZIP code and requested service against participating providers, then pass your request to one that covers it. We do not screen you medically and we do not book appointments.
The three steps
You tell us what you are looking for
A service category, a rough timeframe, a ZIP code, and a way to reach you. Nothing clinical.
We check participating providers
We compare your ZIP code and service against each participating provider's declared coverage, declared services, active status, and whether they are currently taking requests in that category.
A provider may contact you
If one matches, we hand over your request. Everything after that — availability, eligibility, pricing, and whether they can help at all — is the provider's decision.
Exactly what we check
There is no scoring model and no machine learning here. Four boolean checks decide where a request goes, and every one of them is recorded.
- Service coverage
- Has the provider declared that it offers this service category? If not, the request is never routed to them, regardless of how close they are.
- ZIP coverage
- Is your ZIP code in the coverage list the provider gave us? Coverage lists change, and a ZIP being listed is not a promise of availability on any given day.
- Active status
- Is the provider currently participating? A paused or removed provider receives nothing.
- Accepting requests
- A provider can offer a service and still not want requests for it this week. We honour that separately from whether they offer it at all.
What we do not do
- We do not assess whether you need care, and we do not triage. Nothing on this site is a clinical judgment.
- We do not book appointments. We cannot see a provider's calendar.
- We do not decide whether a provider is any good. Where we have reviewed a licence, the profile says what was reviewed and when; where we have not, the profile says that instead.
- We do not sell your information to data brokers or list buyers.
- We do not contact you ourselves about care. The provider does that.
How we are paid
Participating providers may pay us for participation, for the requests we route to them, or for featured placement. That is the entire business model and we would rather you read it here than infer it.
Payment can affect where a provider appears on this site. It does not buy a change to our editorial standards, and it does not let a provider add a claim we would not otherwise publish. Where a provider is paying, the page says so next to their name, not in a footnote.
When there is no match
You will be told directly, on the confirmation screen, along with the reason: the ZIP code is outside declared coverage, no participating provider offers that service, or the provider is not accepting that category right now.
We do not fabricate a match to avoid an empty result, and we do not route a request to a provider for a service they have not confirmed they offer. An honest dead end is more useful than a call from someone who cannot help you.
Ready to check coverage?
It takes about a minute, asks nothing clinical, and tells you the result immediately.
Get MatchedCommon questions
Do you sell my information?
We share a matched request with one participating provider, under the consent you gave, and we are compensated by that provider. We do not sell information to data brokers, list buyers, or advertisers. The lead-sharing disclosure page lists exactly which fields are shared.
Why did no provider match my ZIP code?
Mobile providers price travel into every visit, so coverage areas are drawn by driving time rather than by city limits. Areas outside Loop 1604 in particular are often past where a provider will travel.
Can I contact a provider directly instead?
Yes. Every provider profile lists the provider's own website and phone number. You do not have to go through this form, and using it does not get you a better price.

- How Providers Are Selected
There is no ranking algorithm and no quality score. Selection today is participation plus coverage, and pretending otherwise would be the easiest lie on this site.
- How Sponsored Placement Works
Some participating providers pay to take part in this platform, which may include featured placement. Payment may influence where a provider appears. It does not permit a provider to alter our general educational standards or make unsupported claims.
